The Official Rules of Fast Golf

Scoring

  • Gross Score: The Gross Score shall be calculated at the end of the round by deducting the Combined Gross Stableford points (1 point for a bogey, 2 points for a Parr, 3 points for a Birdie, 4 points for an Eagle, 5 points for an Albatros) from the elapsed time. The elapsed time shall be reflected as a number (minutes) then a comma (,) and then a number (seconds)
  • The elapsed time shall be measured from the time the first shot is hit until the player has completed the last hole and crossed the timing point/matt on the edge of the last green
  • The player shall complete each hole irrespective of whether any Gross or Nett Stableford points have been scored for that particular hole.

As an example if a player takes 47 minutes and 12 seconds and scores 28 Gross Stableford points the score would be:
47,12 – 28 = 19,12 (Gross Score of 19,12)
The winner shall be the person that has the lowest score

Playing

  • Each player shall be responsible for keeping their own score.
  • Carrying Clubs. The players must carry their own clubs either in a bag or loosely. Caddies or any outside assistance is not allowed.

(a) Drop the ball within 2 club lengths but no closer to the hole (b) Drop the ball along the line of the previous shot but no closer to the hole (c) Replay the previous shot. This rule does not apply to water hazards however it does apply to a bunker, in which case the ball must be dropped in the bunker no closer to the hole.
